Petition Seeking Justice for Egypt's Abducted Coptic Women

Dear jean-pierre Pagès-Schweitzer, Christian women in some Islamic countries are being abducted and coerced into marrying Muslim men. This is especially prevalent in Egypt where ICC has learned of over 300 documented cases where Coptic women have been kidnapped, forced into marriage, and the police take no action to return them to their families. If she is located, the police insist she voluntarily converted and married, irregardless of the fact that many of these girls are minors and it is illegal for them to marry without family consent. Once abducted, these girls are literally captives, bound to a life of servitude. Please join ICC in bringing attention to the tragic and ongoing abduction of Coptic Christian women in Egypt by signing the petition. Please follow the instructions below and have your signatures back to us by July 30.
