Two Thousand Kessab Christians Find Safety In Latakia, Syria
An estimated 2,000
Kessab Armenians are in Latakia receiving assistance from local
Armenians, the International Red Cross and the Red Crescent. Kessab has
been over-run by fighters, mostly from the extremist Nusra Front, where
they have desecrated churches, pillaged houses, and destroyed government
buildings, Syrian Armenian community activist Nerses Sarkissian told
the Weekly.
- Pray for the safety of those who did not escape Kessab with their fellow Armenians
- Pray for those aiding and assisting our brothers and sisters
- Praise God for the workers who are providing assistance to the 2,000 Armenians

Death Toll Goes Above 150 Following Last Week's Attacks On Christian Villages In Nigeria
The
death toll following a massacre across three villages in Nigeria a week
ago has risen above 150, according to the deputy Chairman of the Kaura
Local Government Area. This includes the wife and three children of the
ECWA Church pastor, Rev Likita Riku, whom were killed, and burned beyond
recognition.The victims were buried in three mass graves after
inter-denominational prayers last Sunday.

Final Draft Of Resolution On Sri Lanka Tabled At The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
The
final draft of the resolution on Sri Lanka sponsored by the United
States, the United Kingdom and three other countries was submitted to
the 25th session of the UNHRC in Geneva. The revised draft limits the
time period for the OHCHR to conduct the investigations. However, the
text of the final draft was formulated with the help of India
eliminating any probe on India's complicity in Sri Lanka's terrorist
war.

Syria's Islamist Rebels Force Christian Activist To Wear Veil
Marcell Shehwaro, a
well-known Christian and civil activist in Aleppo, was arrested by armed
men and taken to a rebel Sharia court after a scuffle occurred when she
refused to wear a hijab. She was freed only after signing an agreement
to wear the veil from then on. "It is impossible for Christians to live
with this armed opposition....leave this country, it's not ours
anymore," she told Christians on Facebook.

- Pray Syria will bring justice for those without a voice and rise above extremism, and intolerance for the sake of its people

Churches Under Fire In Russian Takeover Of Crimea

Catholics are in fear for their lives and churches as Russia takes over
Crimea. "Our Church has no legal status in the Russian Federation, so
it's uncertain which laws will be applied if Crimea is annexed," Priest
Mykhailo Milchakovskyi told CNS. ICC's Ryan Morgan said church leaders
have a reason to be worried. Will Russia grant registration to
churches or are the kidnappings and threats just the beginning?

USA: Atheists Demand Christian Governor Delete Biblical Tweet
The
Freedom From Religion Foundation has demanded Wisconsin Governor
Scott Walker to remove posts from his official Facebook and Twitter
feeds that read, "Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ
who strengthens me." Governor Walker's office told Fox News the governor
has absolutely no plans to remove anything.
- Pray for Governor Walker, his office, family and any God-fearing politician for renewal of strength and guidance
- Pray the
authorities will stop their personal hatred towards Christians and
Americans, and protect the Constitution of their land they are to serve
in tolerance
