Petition Calling for the Immediate and Unconditional Release of Pastor Bakhytzhan Kashkumbayev
In October police stormed Grace Church in the capital of Astana. They detained members for questioning and soon hurled wild accusations at the church pastor, Bakhytzhan Kashkumbayev, accusing him of putting hallucinogens in the communion juice. The charges were simply an excuse to harass the church until last month when police decided to arrest Pastor Kashkumbayev and lock him away in Astana’s “Temporary Isolation Prison” where he will remain for at least the next two months as charges are brought against him.
The longer he remains imprisoned the greater the chance he will be tortured, beaten, and mistreated. Lend your voice to ours and call on the Kazakhstan government to release Pastor Kashkumbayev.
Raise your voice for the voiceless, and sign the petition today!

Article Image
In Lao Cai, a province in Vietnam, a married couple who recently found their faith in Christ was beaten until the wife was bleeding. At this point the police stopped the beating and let the couple go. There is still no word yet on if the police have been faced with any charges for this beating or not. The Vietnamese government still has much control over the religious activities in their country. This attack has been brought to the attention of the federal government in efforts to seek justice in this event.
Pray for justice for the couple who was attacked
Pray that the police who attacked them would come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ
