Ten
years ago, American leftist ‘peace’ activist and International
Solidarity Movement volunteer, Rachel Corrie, was killed by an Israeli
bulldozer while allegedly trying to prevent a home demolition in Gaza.
Corrie traveled halfway around the world to deliberately put herself in a
war zone on the side of the Islamic terrorists…and didn’t live long
enough to regret it.
What actually got Rachel Corrie killed was her own
arrogance, ignorance, and misplaced loyalty to the radical
International Solidarity Movement.
al-Jazeera Corrie,
23, spent less than two months in Gaza before her death, and it took an
Israeli court less than that to close its investigation into the
incident and declare it was an “accident.”
Ms. Corrie, a
student at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash., joined the
International Solidarity Movement in January, 2003, and spent the last
weeks of her life in Rafah, the Gaza town that borders Egypt. In a Feb.
27, 2003, e-mail home, she wrote that 600 homes had been destroyed there
since the start of the intifada. On March 16 she and seven other
American and British activists acted as human shields, dropping to their
knees between the bulldozers and a home they believed were marked for
destruction.
On
the eve of the 10-year anniversary of her death, Corrie’s father Craig
published a statement calling for a “thorough, credible and transparent”
investigation promised by then-Israeli-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in
the wake of Corrie’sdeath. ”Obama should refuse to continue US military
and diplomatic support until Israel gives truthful answers to our
questions, not just for US citizens like Rachel and Furkan Dogan, but
for all the civilians killed or maimed using US-funded weapons,” he said.

Last year, a civil suit brought by Corrie’s family, (at the behest of the Obama Regime who first encouraged them to sue the Israeli government)
was dismissed by an Israeli court, finding again that her death was
unintentional. It called the incident a “regrettable accident”.
In the August 2012 ruling dismissing
the family’s claims, Judge Oded Gershon put the blame squarely on Corrie
for her own death, saying “she did not distance herself from the area,
as any thinking person would have done”.
The Israeli court said in a statement:
“It is clear the death of Ms Corrie was not caused as a result of a
direct action by the bulldozer or by its running her over.”[Corrie] was
not run over by an engineering vehicle but rather was struck by a hard
object, most probably a slab of concrete which was moved or slid down
while the mound of earth which she was standing behind was moved.”
Rachel Corrie was part of ISM, which assists Palestinian terrorist groups! The
Israeli driver could not see her as she was behind a ditch. When she
was run over by the tractor, she was trying to protect a tunnel entrance
that was being used to smuggle weapons. Many false claims were made
leading up to her death, and in this video they get de-bunked.
Doctored pics, false allegations and
phony witnesses…..all part of the Pallywood propaganda production that
they’ve used to falsely demonize Israel in the past (And revealed by 60 minutes in this video: 60 MINUTES expose on Pallywood
An open letter to Rachel Corrie’s parents from an Israeli parent Some
may see the irony in your using the courts and the free press of Israel
in your attempt to pursue and denounce the nation your daughter
loathed. I see the tragedy in your allying with the International
Solidarity Movement — the very people and organization who led and, in a
sense, really pushed Rachel to her death.
Israel permitted four of Corrie’s
colleagues from the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) to enter
Israel to give testimony on what occurred that day. Too bad that while
in Israel, the ISM members weren’t arrested for reckless endangerment,
fraud, manslaughter, aiding terrorists, and a host of other charges.
The photo below is that of a very
angry Rachel Corrie surrounded by a mob of children as she burns an
American flag at a pro-Saddam Hussein rally. The rage is palpable. What
did she hate more, Israel or the United States? I suspect the former,
because she justified the use of terrorism against Israeli civilians.
She imbibed the ISM philosophy,
as stated by one of its leaders during an interview with Al-Jazeera:
“We recognize that violence is necessary and it is permissible for
oppressed and occupied people to use armed resistance and we recognize
their right to do so.”
And this picture is of a visit to the
region by Rachel’s parents to see where their daughter lived and died.
They were met and honored by Yasser Arafat. Their daughter was his
pawn, another young idealist brainwashed into hating Israel. Arafat
regaled in his “shahids,” the suicide bombers who blew up Israeli
civilians.
This video provides the side of the story ignored by the media:
