The Rise of Anti-Christianity in the West
5/12/2014 United States (Christian Post)

"There is now a serious risk that Christianity will disappear from its biblical heartlands," said a report by Civitas about persecution of Christians in the Middle East. Evidence suggests there are some who want Christianity to vanish from the West. The Civitas report "highlights a fear among oppressive regimes that Christianity is a 'Western creed' which can be used to undermine them," according to the London Telegraph.

  • Pray our faithful God will increase in us and guide us through these trying times
  • Pray our Lord and savior will open the hearts and minds of Christian oppressors so they may be saved
  • Pray for all brothers and sisters in the U.S. and world-wide to keep their focus on the Lord for He is our strength and healer

5/12/2014 Pakistan (Pakistan Christian Post)

According to Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan, a 11-year-old Christian girl, Maria Sarfraz, was abducted from the town of Distt, Sheikupora and raped multiple times during her three day ordeal. Watch Out for Burma's Move to Restricting Interfaith Marriages Law
5/7/2014 Burma (AsiaNews)

97 Burma civil society organizations have condemned the proposal of a bill restricting interfaith marriages that may harm women's rights and religious freedom. Most citizens in Burma are Buddhist. Supported by Buddhist extremists and the President, the proposal would require Buddhist women to seek permission from their parents and the authorities before marrying outside Buddhist faith. Activists from a local Christian group expressed that the bill could harm religious freedom, especially for women.

  • Pray for the victory of this movement to keep equality and stop the intolerance against Christians and the Burmese people
  • Pray for the wisdom of the local Christian activists
  • Pray for the salvation of the Buddhist extremists and President Sein
