Sharia law – Divine claims and harsh realities.

An event organised by the London School of Economics Student Union Atheist Secular and Humanist Society.

Maryam Namazie will speak about how sharia law and the operation of Muslim Arbitration Tribunals have affected the lives of women and children in Britain.

Sundas Hoorain, a political activist and human rights lawyer from Pakistan, will talk about what it means to live under sharia law, especially for women and non-Muslims.
