Fellow patriot, For a thousand years this country has stood alone, strong, proud and free - we Britons have always ran our own affairs, decided our own laws, and chosen our own governments. However, since we were tricked in 1975 to give full backing to the European Economic Community (later to become the EU), foreigners have made 80% of our laws, and now we are subservient to un-elected EU bureaucrats in Brussels. We were promised a referendum on the EU constitution but so far we have been denied it. We must withdraw from the EU before we are totally engulfed by the EU plan to enslave the British people. Our forebears sacrificed much in the First and Second World Wars but now their memory has been betrayed by our political leaders. Traitors I say, every last one of them! Britain's humiliating subjugation by the EU is a national betrayal that must be avenged! There is a national campaign being waged at the moment to pressure our government into a referendum on the EU - this campaign has the backing of multiple organisations and political parties, all under the general umbrella of the 'EU Referendum Campaign'. Backing this 'EU Referendum Campaign' is UKIP, the Christian Party, the British National Party and the English Democrats. Campaigning groups who back this national anti-EU campaign include the Bruges Group, the Freedom Association and ourselves, Britain First. Some of these groups are running their own smaller, copy-cat campaigns; some are getting behind the main campaign. Any resistance to the totalitarian EU is welcomed by Britain First. This campaign this not unique to any of the groups named above, but we feel that this whole issue is of such paramount importance that we at Britain First have decided to throw our weight and experience behind this defiant initiative!
