NYT falls for Muslim Brotherhood & Islamists video to “Rebut Militants”

Not only is this nine years too late, but 5:04 minutes of classic Islamic double-speak that never condemns a single Islamic terrorist group, individual or anything in the Koran. Delivered by a cadre of stealth jihadists with a long history of pro-jihad, pro-sharia and anti-American rhetoric and activism, this roster of Islamists MPAC has employed is a complete farce.

Could it be conveniently timed to sway a generally uninformed public on the Ground Zero victory mosque? Or further infiltrate and get paid by the Islamo-friendly Obama administration? via American Muslims Make Video to Rebut Militants – NYTimes.com.

A recent spate of arrests of Muslims accused of terrorism in the United States has revealed that many of them were radicalized by militant preaching they found on the Internet.

Now nine influential American Muslim scholars have come together in a YouTube video to repudiate the militants’ message. The nine represent a diversity of theological schools within Islam, and several of them have large followings among American Muslim youths.

The video is one indication that American Muslim leaders are increasingly engaging the war of ideas being waged within Islam.

“We need to shepherd our own flock and to say that, theologically, these things are unacceptable,” said Imam Suhaib Webb, the educational director for the Muslim American Society, a grass-roots group in Santa Clara, Calif., who is among the nine in the video. “The Prophet Muhammad, when on the battlefield, saw that amongst the enemy there were innocent women and children killed, and he was openly angry. He is prohibiting us from killing the innocent. It is very clear.”

The content of the video is laughable, but no laughing matter. Known proponents of sharia law, some of whom are proud supporters of Hizbollah and Hamas and others who have stated it is ok for Muslims to attack U.S. soldiers who don’t even use the term jihad – as if directed by DHS.

Everything these stealth jihadists state refers to the Koran and Muslims and they use undefined terms like “innocent” and “believers” that to untrained ears might sound logical. Such terms are intentionally deceptive. The use of the oft cited excuse that if you can’t read Arabic then you must be misintrepreting the true meaning of the Koran is also employed, as it is by jihadists. For example:

“…Allah has said very clearly and categorically that we [Muslims] cannot kill innocent people. There’s no footnote there. There’s no, um, real exception to that. ” ~ Ishan Bagby

No real exception? Actually there is a huge exception and that is that non-Muslims are generally never considered innocent by virtue of being non-Muslim. Worse, that Muhammid believed all humans were born Muslim and those who are no longer Muslim chose to leave thereby making them apostates from Islam – and subject to death.

That comes Ishan Bagby a board member of two unindicted co-conspirators and Muslim Brotherhood entities, CAIR and ISNA. Discover the Networks profile has more:

…Bagby, an Islamic fundamentalist, is quoted as saying, “Ultimately we [Muslims] can never be full citizens of this country [the U.S.], because there is no way we can be fully committed to the institutions and ideologies of this country.”

It goes on in the same vein. Ziad Shakir uses terms like “indiscriminate violence” and “innocent” lives a clear message to Muslims that discriminate killing of deserving infidels is permitted in Islam, in fact it is required. Shakir claims that indiscriminate violence has just led to one mess after the other and Muslims must not only clean up those messes but to “contribute to the construction of something beautiful.”

It’s unclear what “something beautiful” means to Shakir, a CAIR advisor, but rest assured his definitions align with Bagby’s and are deceptive at best. Shakir is on recorded audio stating this:

“Islam doesn’t permit us to hijack airplanes filled with civilian people,” Shakir once told a Muslim audience. However, “If you hijack an airplane filled with the 82nd Airborne, that’s something else.”

Another average looking American convert to Islam, Hamza Yusuf, appears and drives home the Islamic supremacist ideology as the video ends:

“…if you go by the name Muslim, that is a very exalted status…”

Exalted, meaning above non-Muslims?

Another common ploy by Muslims to hide past associations with known terror-linked groups or individuals, and to throw researchers off track is to use various spellings of their names. A great example is a known Islamist and now Obama advisor, Dalia Mogahed – Mogahed being a variant of mujahid. In this video, we see Yassir Oadhi. A Google search will show no results for his name. Nothing. However, those who are familiar with his face or a variation of his name (Yasir Oadhi, Yasir Qadhi), can find some interesting background information on him, including:

Sheikh Yasir Qadhi has previously denied the Holocaust, claimed that Jews want to destroy Muslims, and called all non-Muslims (including Jews and Christians) a “spiritually filthy substance” whose lives and property hold no value and are forfeit to Muslims during Jihad.

A Holocaust denier, Qadhi has stated: “Hitler never intended to mass-destroy the Jews.” In August 2006 Qadhi revealed that he was on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s terrorist watch list.

Read up on all of these individuals before the State Dept. and the media start touting this taqiyya as evidence of moderate Muslims speaking out against terrorism – they do no such thing.

PS: The video has a paltry 4,500 views on Youtube and a mere 26 comments – at least one pointing out that music is considered haram (not acceptable) by some of MPAC’s Muslim followers. The NYT points out MPAC will make a sharia compliant version of the video.
