The Nightmare on Our Doorstep: An Overview of the Calais Invasion Force

the-jungle-calaisKnifepoint ambushes, fraudsters, makeshift mosques in the bush, rapes, criminals who use fingertip mutilation to avoid identification, diseases like scabies: this is the nightmare invasion force of illegals in Calais just waiting their chance to enter soft touch Britain.

The invader gangs — drawn by the outrageous free benefits offered courtesy of the British taxpayer — have resorted to targeting British holidaymakers in roadside ambushes, according to a press release from the French police in Calais.

The Third Worlders are forming human roadblocks to force motorists passing through the French port town to stop.

Travellers are then robbed at knifepoint by the criminals, who then use the money to pay off smugglers to get into the UK, continued the police warning.

The Calais police urged motorists to keep their windows closed and doors locked until they are safely inside the ferry terminal. Officers said they had received several reports from holidaymakers of having to “run a gauntlet” between the town and the ferry port.

“Frontier police received a report from a British couple who said the gang formed a human chain across the road to stop them. Around six of them then surrounded the car and waved a knife in the male driver’s face and demanded cash. He threw his wallet out of the window and sped off,” said the police statement.

They added that a few days later another British family ploughed through a refugee roadblock, knocking down and injuring one of the invaders.

The police statement continued: “We advise drivers to drive slowly at anyone blocking the road, giving the clear intention you do not want to be stopped. If the road remains blocked, keep the windows closed and doors locked, and call the police. Drivers should take any opportunity to drive away once the road is clear.”

Calais prefect Gerard Gavory has also revealed that the invaders massed in Calais are mutilating their fingerprints so that their true identities cannot be established.

According to Mr Gavory, the invaders burn their hands, or remove layers of skin to prevent analysis from being effective.

“This means that data showing everything from criminal records to repeat attempts to claim asylum will not appear on European wide computers,” he said.

At least 57 “asylum seekers” questioned in the port town over the past few weeks had their fingerprints removed, he added.

Mr Gavory said scars caused by knives and razors were commonplace, or else polyurethane glue or even acid was used to remove fingerprint patterns. The most common method was to place all ten fingers on an oven hob and turn up the heat.

Medical teams in Calais now believe that at least 200 migrants have scabies, a disease carried by a parasite that thrives in dirty conditions which lays its eggs in the skin.

The condition causes intense itching and rashes, and can be caught by simple skin contact with a carrier. Local authorities in Calais have set up a hygiene unit and two mobile showers to try and limit the spread of the disease, which is rife among the hundreds of migrants who live in squalid conditions in woodland known as ‘The Jungle’.

Infected migrants will be asked to wash using a special disinfectant soap, then given new clean clothes. They will be administered doses of an anti-parasite powder.

Doctors for the charity Medecins du Monde in Calais believe the disease began spreading after the charity Secours Catholique closed down its showers and cleaning facilities for migrants in the northern port last year. It did so as it said it could no longer cope with the influx of migrants, and called on the state to do more.

Four charities — Secours Catholique, Medecins du Monde, Salem and C’Sur — are planning a “mass-disinfection” exercise from August 7 to 22 to try and fight the disease.

In April, French immigration minister Eric Besson vowed to bulldoze the litter-strewn shanty town — where a London journalist was raped by a migrant last year — after admitting it had become a hotbed for people smugglers and criminal gangs. But he has now said the camp must remain in place until it can be dismantled in what he called a “dignified manner.”

There are currently at least 2,000 invaders living in ‘The Jungle’.

The mayor of Calais, Natacha Bouchart, has blamed the presence of the invasion force on the “UK’s enormous state handouts to asylum-seekers.”

Mrs Bouchart said the UK Government’s policies were “imposing” thousands of migrants on the town, costing the local economy millions of pounds.
