Asia Bibi's Appeal Hearing Postponed
3/17/2014 Pakistan(Asia News)

Asia Bibi's hearing has been postponed 'to a later date' due to the absence of one of the two presiding judges. Bibi, mother of 5, was arrested on charges for insulting Muhammad in 2009 by drinking a glass of water from a Muslim owned well, which 'contaminated the water' therefore insulting the Muslim prophet. She was sentenced to death in 2010 by the 'black law' and has been waiting in isolation in the Punjab prison for her appeal to be heard.

  • Pray for Asia Bibi and her family's healing and renewal in strength
  • Pray the judges will release not just Bibi, but all those falsely accused
  • Pray for the protection of Christians accused of 'blasphemy' in Pakistan
