Skanderbeg(1405-1468)
He was an Albanian prince and was the facts we know are:
1.He was around 12 or 14 when he was sent as a hostage by his parents to the Sultan in Istanbul.He became a Muslim and pretended to be one for more than 20 years.
2.He fought for the Muslims in their battles,being a military officer in their army.
3.Skanderbeg later retracted and led military campaigns against them.He is the greatest hero of the Albanians.Read about him here,with videos about his life:

1.He was the greatest Jewish philosopher of the Middle Ages and was born in Cordoba,Spain,just like Averroes(1126-1198),his c
2.His family had to flee Spain due to the Almohads,who ruled from 1147-1269,a fanatical Muslim group that persecuted Christians and Jews.In Judaism they say:
“From Moses(Note:of the Bible) to Moses(Note:Moses ben Maimon) there is none like Moses.”

Mimar Sinan (1490-1588)
1.He was most probably Armenian,and the greatest architect of the Ottoman empire,and he is famous for 2 mosques:the Selim Mosque in Edirne and the Suleiman Mosque in Istanbul.
2.His original name was Joseph and at age 21 he was forced to convert to Islam and become a janissary,the Sultan’s soldier.
It is possible that since his conversion was forced his belief in Islam was a pretense all his life.Read more about him here:
