Article One
5/28/10 Iraq (HeraldScotland) Mosul Reported Most Dangerous City in Iraq- Mosul has been reported to be among the most dangerous cities in Iraq, heavily due to targeted attacks and murder of the defenseless Christian minority. The murder rate in Mosul was reported at close to 50 a month - and worse for minorities. The Bishop of Mosul was killed last year, and hundreds of Christians have been killed in the city over the last three years alone. Full Story
Pray for the Father to grant strength to believers in Mosul and in Iraq.
Pray that the Church in Iraq would grow deep roots in the Father.

5/28/10 United States (DetNews) Detroit Bans Ad for People Who Want to Leave Islam- Despite previously running an ad from an atheist group which read "Don't Believe in God? You Are Not Alone," Detroit's regional bus system has rejected an ad aimed at Muslims who want to leave Islam. "In Detroit, government officials grant atheists the right to express a view that God does not exist, not worrying about offending Christians," said Robert Muise, a senior trial counsel with the Thomas More Law Center. "Yet these same politically correct officials censor speech that might offend Muslims. Such blatant discrimination is offensive, and it violates our Constitution." New York City, however, is running the "Leaving Islam?" ads. Full Story

Pray that the Father would open the eyes of men and women caught in the deception of Islam.
Pray that America would uphold and stand up for our freedom of speech, without discrimination.

Each of the three men who kidnapped her allegedly raped Sidra for a month. One of the men, Muhammad Khalid, married Sidra after she became pregnant to avoid prosecution. Sidra is now 8 months pregnant and her family is "allegedly receiving threats from the culprits to stop them from pursuing justice." Full Story.

Pray for supernatural protection for Sidra and her family as they receive continued threats.

Speaking to ICC, Reverend Ishaq Khokar, the church's pastor, said that the Islamists attacked the church at the behest of Muhammad Tariq, a Muslim convert form Christianity. 5/24/10 Vietnam (ICC) Murdered Pastor's Widow Could Lose Children- International Christian Concern has learned that the widow of a murdered Vietnamese Christian was taken to a police station with her children and told she must sign documents agreeing to give her children over to the state. Her husband, K'pa Lot, was beaten to death for publicly expressing his faith in Jesus. We believe the police are harassing Lot's widow because word of her husband's murder reached the news through the Montagnard Foundation. Fortunately, after 6 hours of pleading with the authorities, she was released without having signed the document. Full Story
Praise the Father that Lot's widow was allowed to leave the police station with her children.
Pray that the officials would cease their efforts to torment this family.

Article Seven
5/23/10 United States (CBN News) Ground Zero Mosque: Olive Branch or 'Soft Jihad'?- The plan to construct a mosque at ground zero has stirred controversy. Many say that such a plan is part of Islam's soft jihad. The mosque and Islamic community center, being pushed by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, has been approved for construction just a few blocks away from Ground Zero. Relatives of Americans who lost their lives in the September 11th attacks object to the mosque's location, but Feisal claims it will "help bridge the gap and bring healing between Muslims and non-Muslims." Middle East expert Daniel Pipes noted that the Imam does not have the cleanest record. "He's an Islamist. He's someone who has sympathy with our enemies more than with us. In other words, he wants to apply Islamic law. Granted he's not doing it via terrorism, but he's using his own methods of education, propagation in order to achieve the same goals." Full Story

Pray for the families of those who lost their lives in the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Pray that the Father would shine His light onto this situation to expose and thwart any intent of evil.
